One-Day Conference Volunteer Description
Want to get involved with CATESOL but aren't in a place to make a large time commitment? One-day conference volunteering is perfect for you. These volunteers are crucial to the success of our conferences. Your volunteering duties will take place on the day of the conference only, so you don't have to worry about finding time prior to the conference to attend meetings. You may be put to work doing a variety of tasks: posting signs, helping with registration, and asking presenters if you they need anything before they begin (just to name a few examples!). If you are interested in this opportunity, you will be contacted by someone from the planning committee when/if a volunteering opportunity arises.

Want to take a hands-on role at the local level? Become part of a chapter board! Each year chapters look for people to run for election for a variety of positions, including Coordinator-Elect, Associate Treasurer-Elect, Secretary-Elect, and Level Representatives (just to name a few examples!). This volunteering opportunity requires a commitment of 1-3 years depending on the position for which you are running. If you are interested in this opportunity, you will be contacted by someone from the chapter when/if a volunteering opportunity arises.

*Please note: To serve on a chapter board, you must live or work in that chapter's designated area.
