Greetings: Members, Friends and Community Partners, 

The Diamond Edge Figure Skating Club, a volunteer run organization, has been providing figure skating  opportunities to Willmar and the surrounding communities since 2001! Each year we host the Lakes Area Classic skate competition, bringing in skaters from different parts of the state. We also produce our Annual Show to showcase all of our clubs talent and the skaters' hard work. It is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. It helps to provide an engaging activity for the area youth as well as supports our scholarship fund. The scholarship fund gives families the opportunity to skate who would otherwise not have resources to be involved in the sport. Diamond Edge Figure Skating Club teaches many skaters at all levels. The cost of practice ice and coaching is rising. We are asking our  members and community partners to not only raise revenue, but also raise awareness of our club.  It is through the generous donations and sponsorships of our members that allow our club to operate.

Figure skating provides great avenues for individuals to stay physically active, participate in a group environment while building  confidence and friendships; along with the opportunity to showcase their talents through our annual show.
