2026 Indigenous Student Museum Internship (ISMI) application

Projected program duration: 16 weeks/flexible (begins May 2026)

Offered by the Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society (FRAMS), the Indigenous Student Museum Internship invites First Nations, Inuit and Métis post-secondary students to spend a summer exploring a field that inspires them at the Royal Alberta Museum in Edmonton, Alberta.

Program eligibility criteria:
●  currently enrolled in a college or university program and you will be returning to your studies in fall 2026 or you are currently completing your final year;
●  identify as First Nations, Inuit or Métis; and
●  have related academic interest to the Royal Alberta Museum.

REQUIREMENT: in addition to completing this application form, please email info@frams.ca the following documents:
1)  a cover letter outlining your field of study and why you would like a museum learning experience (in 500 words or less),
2)  your resume, and
3)  your most recent grade transcript.
