The DIB Collaborative is intended to bring together the people who are responsible for implementing and maintaining cybersecurity requirements within their organization, in support of Department of War initiatives, particularly within small and mid-sized businesses and the lower tiers of the defense supply chain, across the Defense Industrial Base.
We are looking for participants who can bring practical, firsthand perspectives on what it takes to interpret, implement, maintain, and pay for cybersecurity and compliance requirements while continuing to operate a business, manufacture products, provide services, support customers, and meet contractual obligations.
The Collaborative is intentionally designed to elevate voices that may not always have a seat at the table in broader DIB cybersecurity conversations. We hope to build a diverse group representing different industries, company sizes, roles, levels of cyber maturity, and positions within the defense supply chain.
Who should apply?
We especially encourage applications from:
• Small and mid-sized defense contractors and subcontractors
• Suppliers and manufacturers supporting contract requirements.
• Organizations handling FCI, CUI, ITAR-controlled data, or other sensitive defense information
• Business owners and executives who share responsibility for cybersecurity and compliance
• Quality, operations, contracts, engineering, manufacturing, and supply-chain professionals affected by cybersecurity requirements
• Internal IT and cybersecurity practitioners
• Individuals responsible for cyber/compliance as just one of many hats they wear
• Organizations at all stages of the CMMC journey, including those still working toward certification
Yes, it's a thorough application. It's detailed because the DIB Collective will have Committees and Working Groups, and we will look for leads and active participants to ensure voices are heard.
We appreciate your willingness to represent the DIB!
