Let's cruise-out towards the South Bay Wreck of the USS Thompson (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Thompson_(DD-305) | http://www.sfsayc.com/sfsayc/ussthompson.html)

Ahoy Cruisers,
The updated schedule for the Cruise Out to The Club at Westpoint by way of the South Bay Wreck is as follows:
Weather permitting or not! Gather round the South Bay Wreck at 1000 (it's a approximately 10' King (super) High Tide. We may raft up and enjoy a Brunch, for those interested in floating around the Destroyer the USS Thompson, bring your kayak, canoe, dinghy and carefully check out the the highest part of the old rusty boat used for target practice by the little sparrowhawk biplanes launched and recovered from the USS Macon Airship based at Moffett Field in the 1930's.
All of the Cruisers should be at the Westpoint Harbor, and it would be wise to arrive sooner, but no later than 1400! A very low tide follows the King Tide with a -1.3 at 1730. For all that want to explore the Marina, please enjoy yourselves in your dinghy's, canoes, rafts, etc. and there are some very nice walking paths that follow the Westpoint Slough, around and in the Pacific Shores Complex, and all around the Harbor. We'll meet for Docktails on the B Dock and migrate to The Club at Westpoint in the Harbor House at 1700 for a Potluck Dinner. Sunday morning a light Breakfast is available at PLEIADES on the G Dock from 0830-1000.

NOTES:
Brunch shall be provided by Sailboats over 40' at anchor near the South Bay Wreck 1000-1130

Docktails bring your favorite cocktails for yourself & snacks (hors d'oeuvres) to share near Anja and Peter's new boat on the B Dock (B9) 1600-1700

Potluck Dinner
Power Boaters & Black Toppers, please provide SALADS, Sailboats under 40', please provide an entree dish (just enough for yourselves, there'll be Family Sized Lasagnas at the Harbor House). Sailboats over 40' please provide deserts. The Club at Westpoint is temporarily housed on the second floor of the Harbor House, it is a warm and inviting facility with great views of the Marina and South Bay, however the Galley is small and they do not have a liquor license. So we are bringing our own dinner and booze (BYOD & B) on this inaugural Cruise-Out to The Club at Westpoint. 1700-????
