Vice President
You’ll assist in making the decisions on future events and plans the society has, as well as ensuring it continues to progress smoothly. You’ll also be a part of conflict resolution and encouraging communication throughout the society.
Secretary
The Secretary works to make the magic happen. You'll be the one to read through the handbooks, take notes during meetings, submit paperwork, and keep the society ticking. You’re in charge of maintaining a friendly relationship with the USU, and organising rooms and venues for fun events. This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a difference, yet might not have the time to join all the events/schedules.
Treasurer
The treasurer ensures that events are up to standard by providing correct funding during the semester. You will handle the finances for the club that includes budgeting, applying for funding, receipt management and preparing financial reports.
Events Manager
You’ll be in charge of conceiving event ideas for the society. Be as creative as can, you’ll be surprised what you can do! During the events, you will assist members wherever they may need. You do not have to be incredibly sociable, just be warm company and a friendly face!
Head of Marketing
Propose your ideas to promote USYD CatSoc! Hone your visual and design skills in making merchandise and promotional materials, including posters, filming and making promotional content, and creating assets. Experience using video editing software is preferred but not required! :)
Social Media Executive
You will be managing CatSoc's social media pages! This includes making posts and announcements on Instagram, Facebook, Discord and YouTube (if possible). Come up with ideas to engage our cat-loving followers via our socials! 6
