Announcing the Without Limits Grassroots Organizing Award!

This award will honor the men and women who are working behind the scenes to involve more female athletes in Ultimate.  This is a chance to celebrate the work of the individuals who start leagues, teams, and youth programs, who run clinics and coach.  We see this award as a chance to thank those on the front lines of making our community more friendly, accessible, and welcoming to female athletes.

Do you know someone you think should be recognized for outstanding contribution to female Ultimate players?  We will be accepting nominations through July 1st, with awards announced by July 31st.  Feel free to submit multiple nominations or to collect quotes from multiple people to put on one nomination-- this helps us understand the impace of a particular organizer or coach.

We will be giving awards in the following areas:

Jumpstart Award- someone who has started a program in the last year
Sustained Contribution Award- someone whose dedication has contributed to sustainability
Competitive Edge Award- someone who has taken a girls or women's program to new competitive heights
Creativity Award- for an individual who has used innovative program ideas

Prizes for the winners will be provided by VCS Ultimate!
