The font consists of all upper and lowercase letters, as well as basic punctuation marks, but otherwise is incomplete. Missing glyphs will be replaced by your system's default font, or, occasionally, nothing at all.
There are two files to install: the regular version and the italics version. It's very straightforward, but instructions are included below as well. These instructions only apply to laptops and desktops. If you want to install it on your phone, you will have to wait for a future iteration.

Once installed, the Black Cowboy Prototype font will be available on any program that allows you to choose a font (e.g., Microsoft suite, Adobe products, Canva, etc.). Note, you may have to restart any open applications (or your laptop) to make the newly installed font available.

The whole point of leaving a mark is not to be forgotten.
Find the font file that you downloaded, keeping in mind that it may be contained within a .zip file. It's probably located in your downloads folder.
Double-click the font file to open it in the Font Previewer
The Windows Font Previewer lets you view and install fonts on your Windows computerIf you're satisfied that this is the font you want, select Install at the top.
Close the Font Previewer, and open your Office program. You should now see your new font included on the font list.
On your Mac, download a font file from Apple or another source.
Note: macOS supports TrueType (.ttf), Variable TrueType (.ttf), TrueType Collection (.ttc), OpenType and OpenType-SVG (.otf), and OpenType Collection (.ttc) fonts. Legacy suitcase TrueType fonts and PostScript Type 1 LWFN fonts might work but aren’t recommended.
Do any of the following:
In the Font Book app , choose File > Add Fonts to Current User. In the window that appears, double-click the font file.
Drag the font file to the Font Book app icon in the Dock, then click Install in the dialog that appears.
Drag the font file to the Font Book window.
Double-click the font file in the Finder, then click Install in the dialog that appears.
When you install a font, Font Book automatically validates or checks the font you’re installing for errors. Font Book also checks for duplicate fonts.Fonts you install are available only to you, or to anyone who uses your computer, depending on the default location you set for installed fonts.
