From a teenage dream to capturing the essence of Alexandria's finest cuisines, Carmen's 20-year journey as a passionate photographer and expert food stylist is a testament to chasing dreams. A Business Administration graduate turned professional photographer, carmen has woven her love for food and styling into a visual symphony.

The Workshop will be part of Alexandria Photo Week| First Edition, join us to explore the essentials of capturing delectable moments with our comprehensive Food Photography workshop.

Today, having partnered with Alexandria's top restaurants, I specialize in expertly styling and photographing food to create captivating images for menus, ads, packaging, and publications.

Workshop Outline: 
First day:
- how food photography differs from the other types of photography
- understanding light for food
- Type and direction of light
- Best lenses for food ph.
- Importance of food styling
- How to compose a food photo
-food photography angels

second day" Practical Day"
The attendees will be separated into teams, with each team focusing on a particular project to apply the theoretical concepts covered on the first day of the workshop.

Workshop Dates & Timing: 
- Wednesday 7 February from 10 am - 4 pm 
- Thursday 8 February from 10 am - 4 pm 

Workshop duration: 2 Sessions

Important notes:
Maximum 8 attendees.
Certificates & materials included.  
Attendance is subject to portfolio submission "Portfolio Submission "At Leas 5 Photos of your Work"  

" Attendance is important, Student has to attend at lease 75% of the workshop otherwise the student won't be able to receive a certificate from Photopia"

About the Instructor (Carmen Hassan Ahmed): 

It all started when she was 14! She found herself falling in love with Photography and Cameras.
Carmen may have studied Business Administration, and worked in the field for some years but NEVER forgot about her dream!
In 2007, she decided that it was time to take her passion into reality and shift her career. she took many courses to improve my photography skills.
By that time, she found myself more attracted to food photography and styling and I decided to master them both.
she can proudly say that today, and after 14 years of chasing her dreams, she has worked and still working with the most famous and well-known restaurants in Egypt!
Let's do the magic and make sure your food looks irresistible through my charming breathtaking photos!

Workshop duration: 2 Sessions
FEES: LE 1,800 
Full fees should be paid by the 24th of January, 2024  .


Refund Policy:
-Before 48 hrs of the course students will get a full refund 

-During the 48 hrs students will get 50% refund of their payment
-After 48 hrs students cannot refund their payment.
