What organizations or campaigns are you involved in? Or, anything new you're interested to be involved in? *
Are you registering as a group? What's your group name and school?
We still need information for each individual, so please fill that out, but if you register 5 or more students from the same group before the conference, you get a discounted group rate! :)
Conference Logistics
Meals and sleeping arrangements are included for registered attendees Thursday through Sunday. Once you register, we'll send you a packet of information with all the logistics on our venue, but we'll be staying in a lovely local non-profit venue with dorm-style bunk beds, a dining hall, and lots of showers! :) Bring your sleeping bag and pillow!

If you're travelling with friends, please make sure all in your party are registered so we can plan enough food and housing for all! (Remember if you have 5 or more from your group who have registered and paid their fee before the conference, you get a discounted rate!)

The conference begins Friday afternoon and lasts until Sunday. Please arrange to arrive Thursday night or Friday afternoon and leave Sunday afternoon.
Which nights do you plan to stay at the center during the conference? (Check all that apply) *
Housing is available to registered guests at no additional cost Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. There are bunk beds available on a first-come first-serve basis, but many will be sleeping in shared space on the floor. Please bring a sleeping bag/blankets and a pillow
Required
Any restrictions or special needs? We can accommodate!
(wheel chair access, serious dietary allergies, medical needs, mental health sensitivities, etc.) *We always have vegetarian/vegan food options available, but if you prefer more rigorous diet accommodations, you are welcome to arrange with conference facilitators to bring your own food and use cooking space to prepare alternative meals.
Are you interested to hold a workshop at the conference? *
We're open - and encouraging- of creating a space at this conference where we can learn from each other. If you'd like to hold a workshop, please fill out this workshop proposal form, and we'll get back to you: https://goo.gl/RQEFzA
Will you be driving to New Orleans? Want to carpool? *
Filling up those empty seats can help more social justice enthusiasts make it to the conference, be a great way to meet cool new people, and can help cut down your gas costs! (Not to mention, it's more eco-friendly!)
Costs & Fees
Paying your registration fee of $12 will hold your spot in the conference and help us plan food and housing and festivities for all! It's credited towards the full conference fee too.

Our conference fees work on a sliding scale:
* $45 for undergraduate students if paid before January 10th
* $55 for undergraduate students otherwise
* $125 for graduate students
* Register in a group of 5 or more for only $45 each student (paid in full by January 25th)
* Join our free fundraising trainings or apply for a need-based conference and travel scholarship!

While we need the $12 registration fees up front to get this retreat into gear, you can pay your conference fees either upon arrival or in advance.
How will you be paying your $12 registration fee? *
Paying this fee holds your spot in the conference (and probably the comfiest place to sleep :) )
Will you be able to cover your travel costs to the conference?
If you're unable to cover your travel costs, Solidarity Ignite organizers are happy to work with you so you can fundraise travel costs - a great organizing skill anyhow! Most conference participants that try are able to get their schools to cover the whole trip. If you try to fundraise and still fall short, there are also a few need-based travel scholarships available, and work-trade is also an option.

When can you join a free fundraising workshop?
Via Google Hangouts, join other students trying to make it here, just like you: we'll work through this together. We'll share tips on how to reach out to academic departments, student government and activities offices for funding, how to reach out to alumni from your group to ask for donations, seeking support from local unions, faith groups, businesses, non-profits, and more. We'll also cover how to fundraise through an educational event on campus, and tips on how to host a successful, quick and easy fundraiser party that will also launch your campaign!

Any additional questions or comments?
Are you a scholar, community ally, or non-profit interested to attend? This conference is geared for current college undergrads, but we're glad to have your interest and support. Please contact us at info@solidarityignite.org for further information!
Do you live in Nola? If you do not need housing, we have a  reduced local rate that help us cover food costs. You can also come for free if you lend a hand (and you can also apply for a scholarship). Are you able to help us seek food donations, or cook? Can you help spread the word? Help us check folks in at a registration table? Hit us up at info@solidarityignite.org to coordinate.
