Festival Nómada opens its international call with a deadline due OCTOBER 1st, 2022 for artists residing outside of El Salvador who are involved in street festivals and non-conventional spaces network. They can apply in dance, physical theater, contemporary circus and performance. This Festival takes place in El Salvador, celebrating its seventh edition.

This call is open to artists, companies, projects, groups and collectives of physical theater, dance, contemporary circus and performance. Priority in those that use themes in citizenship, human rights, diversity and gender perspectives, political culture against inclusion, territory and identity. It should be noted that it is a street festival and the pieces or numbers to be submitted must be specific or adaptable to urban sites and non-conventional spaces.

Pieces, shows, works or numbers with dramaturgy that address the themes mentioned  above where the main tool for creation is human movement are accepted. Those selected must commit to comply with the guidelines stipulated by the organizing team of the seventh edition of International Festival Nómada.

OBJECTIVES OF THE CALL
1. Generate a flow of interdisciplinary international artists in order to promote artistic and cultural exchange.
2. Select face-to-face artistic projects and master classes with innovative tools for creation.
3. Program artistic projects that seek the formation of new audiences and territorial access.
4. Diversify the content of the programming of Festival Nómada in El Salvador, from inclusive and diverse perspectives.
