Mehmooni by Maman - The Festive Edition at Café Joon

We’re back for a festive-ish Persian evening at Café Joon, where Maman will once again open her kitchen and her heart to host you. This time we're bringing Persian food comforts to warm the winter season: nourishing ash-reshteh for starters and a sweet and sour lamb stew for mains served with a Persian style 'rice cake'  followed by an actual cream cake to finish! To close the evening, we'll gather around a Christmas-themed grazing board with tea, board games and great chats 😊

Expect an evening of warmth, generosity, and the kind of hospitality only a true mehmooni can bring.

What to Expect

Think of it as stepping into an Iranian home with stories shared across the table, and a sense of belonging that makes you feel part of Maman's family.

📍 Café Joon, Eastbourne, 12 Pevensey Road

🎟️ Tickets: £42 per person

Includes a multi-course Persian meal, welcome drink, dessert, grazing board and Persian tea and fruit.

  • This is an alcohol- free event. BYOB.
  • Soft drinks and coffees will be available to purchase at the café.
  • Halal menu.
