Continuing the Quest
CA alumni are an impressive bunch, with deep knowledge and advanced skills in everything from quantum physics to curating art! Continuing the Quest allows participants to discover something new through enlightening professional development talks with the ability to ask questions that are answered directly by fellow Viking experts.
Join us on Monday, August 16 starting at 6:00 p.m. (EST) for a fun evening of learning and cooking with Avishar Barua '05, Executive Chef and General Manager of Service Bar and one of 15 world-class chefs on "Top Chef" Season 18 in Portland. Avishar will conduct a virtual cooking demonstration of Murgir Jhol (Bengali Homestyle Chicken Curry) following a Q&A with Upper School faculty member Pat Hogan discussing his time at Columbus Academy and his fascinating career path after graduation.
No matter your culinary ability, this program is sure to please. Prior to the program registrants will receive a grocery list so you can purchase all the supplies you need to cook along or recreate later.
This isn't meant to be a quick fire challenge ... the program will be recorded, and participants can either cook along in real-time with Chef Avishar or simply enjoy watching his cooking demonstration.
This free event is exclusively available to members of the Columbus Academy community.
