Cancellation & Housing Policy
If you have a cancellation - Please contact your area travel coordinator, as well as Barbie Mosley at 361-688-3552 and barbie@texasffa.org as soon as possible. It is helpful to include us in a joint email.

If your chapter has the first visit of the morning (regardless of start time), your chapter will be responsible for housing the officers the night prior to your visit. Your area travel coordinator has access to a "host home" database with volunteers. You do not have to use these volunteers, but they are highly encouraged if they work out logistically and there is a need. If you house the officers at someone's house, please make sure the home is an appropriate environment. If you cannot find housing, your chapter will be responsible for covering the cost of a hotel stay. All hotels must be reputable and clean establishments. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Barbie Mosley at barbie@texasffa.org

When available, the officers prefer to stay at the same house. Please make sure no one girl is ever staying in a house without any teammates. It is ideal, if possible, for the President and 1st-Vice President to have access to their own rooms to adequately rest during travel regardless of gender. The third travel member can take turns sharing with the president or 1st-vice president depending on gender.

If you are close to any of the current state officers’ homes, we encourage their home to be the first choice for overnight stays. Our team stays busy throughout the year and being with family is always cherished and appreciated. Travel teams love to stay at Past State Officers (PSO) homes or parents of PSO’s.

When arranging accommodations for travel teams, it is often more beneficial to house team members with couples rather than single individuals.
