Completion of this form creates a witness statement for the City of Edmonton Complaints and Investigations Section, to assist in the enforcement of bylaw offences. Your testimony is crucial to the successful prosecution of these offences. Our officers do not experience the odours and emissions as they occur, and instead rely on your statement to issue a municipal violation ticket and prove the offence occurred. To successfully prosecute these tickets, you must be willing to testify in court as a witness if necessary. We cannot guarantee that all complaints will lead to the issuance of violation tickets, but each complaint will be considered by our officers.
