BMAGIC is collaborating with the HRC and the SEFC to provide our Community Service Providers with a Two Part Workshop Series focusing on equity and inclusion. Sheryl Davis, HRC Executive Director will be providing the information and content. These two workshops are tailored towards the leadership of Bayview service providers. Those working with children, youth and families outside of Bayview are welcome to sign up but will be included based on available capacity.

The intent of these workshops are to begin dialogue and recognize the cultures and experiences of the marginalized and consider how to dismantle institutional and systemic racism. This workshop will be tailored to our community and the concerns and issues related to Equity and Diversity in our workplace, our neighborhoods and in community where our service providers are working.

Can only be attended if participated in 1st workshop.
The workshops will create a working group that will be guided through exercises and conversations about the intersections of our respective cultures in the Bayview, what Equity means and looks like as we provide services, and the Diversity in our offices and the community we all serve. As we all know the landscape is changing and cultures are emerging, and the intersection of the communities can create harmony as well as disruption. Please join us as we work towards bettering our community with these workshops.
