We are very excited that you have decided to run for a position on the Utah FCCLA Alumni and Associates Board! This board is a fantastic way for past members to get involved again, retired teachers to still be involved with FCCLA, and other members of the community to bring resources to Utah FCCLA. This organization is still in it's early years, so we’re looking for those individuals who are determined and committed to FCCLA and are willing to give this organization the time and attention it needs.
We wanted to start this association after hearing of other states hosting an event we’ve been referring to as “Rookie Camp”. This is a summer camp designed for 1st and 2nd year members to increase their knowledge of FCCLA and develop leadership skills. We want this program to target our younger students, mainly 7th and 8th graders. We believe that this program will build stronger leaders from the start and bring more members to Utah FCCLA. In order to host this event, however, we needed an entity separate from the Utah FCCLA Board of Directors which brings us to the creation of Utah FCCLA Alumni and Associates.
Being involved with this organization will be a life changing experience, and one where you can truly make a difference for students here in Utah. To begin the application process you'll need to fill out this phone below. After your application is received you will be emailed a time and date for a phone interview.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at FCCLAAlumniUtah@gmail.com.
