For grant reporting purposes we are required to have income brackets for scholarship recipients.

Please note additional details we may need to consider, including additional income, extenuating circumstance, number of adults and youth supported by this income. A short answer is fine, we don't require an essay, but it does help us to secure additional funding when we know a little about our students' circumstances and why music is outside the family budget.

WCCMA is committed to making music available to all in our community, and in most situations we are able to offer free or discounted access to programs. For larger awards assistance is given based on merit, need, and commitment of the student. Funds are limited and requests may not be fully funded. Instructors will be consulted about student progress, and if students are not attending lessons, canceling frequently, not meeting the lesson requirements listed on the program details, or other similar situations aid award may be suspended.
