Tedd Importico Scholarship Application

Tedd Importico began as a student at Rowan in the early 1990’s. During his time at Rowan, and beyond, he was known for his sharp wit and personality, as well as his leadership, outspokenness, and ability to connect with people. His passing in July 2013 was too soon, and this scholarship serves as a way to keep his memory alive in addition to the countless stories being told by friends, family and loved ones in the days after his passing. Tedd was a native of Waretown, NJ, alumnus of Rowan University, member of the Delta Gamma chapter of the Phi Kappa Sigma Fraternity, a PROS staff member, proud member of the LGBT community, and a was working toward a Law degree at University of Miami.

The goal of the Tedd Importico Scholarship is to recognize a Rowan University student who embodies Tedd’s leadership, inclusion, and individuality.

This scholarship will be applied to the recipients' accounts during the 2016-17 schoolyear. Students must be entering at least their junior year in Fall 2016 to be eligible. Students graduating in May 2016 are not eligible.
