Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Summer Learning Camp through Saline Area Social Service. The Summer Learning Camp is a 4-week, half-day program designed to support elementary-aged students in reading, math, confidence-building, and summer learning engagement.

The camp will serve students entering 1st through 5th grade and will run Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from June 9, 2026, through July 2, 2026. Student programming will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with volunteer support needed before, during, and/or after programming depending on availability and program needs.

This form is intended to collect preliminary volunteer interest and availability. Please note that completing this form does not serve as a full volunteer application. A full application and approval process will be required before volunteering.

All volunteers working with students will be required to complete a background check. The cost of the background check is $60. Saline Area Social Service is able to cover this cost; however, volunteers will have the opportunity to indicate whether they would like to contribute toward or cover the cost of their background check.
