Library session request form for Composition classes

Thank you for your interest in scheduling a library instruction session for your English 3, 4, or 5 class(es). These sessions work best when they are tied directly to a research assignment and take place on a date when students will begin working on that assignment.

Please see the "faculty services" section of the Library website for more information about library instruction sessions and library learning outcomes for English Composition classes: http://www.stmarys-ca.edu/library/english-composition

Please submit this request at least two weeks before your desired session date.

Most library instruction sessions are taught in the library's Wildenradt room, which is equipped with laptops for students and a presentation system.

Please be advised that faculty are required to attend the library instruction session with their class. When you are present, students are more attentive and engaged. They will have questions about how the library session applies to their assignments, and you are the best one to answer them. You can also emphasize certain points discussed in the session, or ask the librarian to address additional topics.

For classes other than English 3, 4, or 5, please contact your subject librarian directly: http://www.stmarys-ca.edu/library/about-the-library/staff-directory/librarian-subject-selectors-and-faculty-liaisons
