Sign up to help with the Bureau Local's big local budget hack
Bureau Local reporter Gareth Davies has been building a huge spreadsheet of local budget data to find out what makes the cut - and what doesn't - in different local authorities ahead of the government's next set of funding decisions in March.

As you may know, each of England's 353 local councils puts its budgets together differently, and lots of this information is contained in unsearchable PDFs buried on ancient websites, which makes this is a huge public accountability task that can't be done alone.

That's why the Bureau Local is hosting a series of hack days across the UK on Saturday 3rd February to get loads of people working together to hack local council budgets. We will need help sourcing and collecting additional local data, fact-checking, contextualising for different areas, and more. Register your interest below and we'll be in touch with event registration links soon.
