Guidelines on Reneging Offers Acknowledgement *

When considering and accepting an offer, please remember that the IOP has a formal policy against accepting and then later rejecting IOP internships. Doing so would mean that you are barred from applying to future IOP summer and academic year internships. The IOP recommends that students maintain open communication with employers regarding any special or extenuating circumstances.
