Do you have a deep contemplative practice, or would you like to begin one?
Have you ever wondered how our spiritual practices might be affected by a coloniser mindset?
At Gembrook Retreat we have developed a rhythm of work and prayer that we can sustain, and that sustains us in our daily lives.
We have also started to ask questions about how some of our inherited Christian spiritual practices might need to be decolonised. By listening to Indigenous voices, we can revisit our assumptions about God and seek truth in the light of new perspectives.
Come and explore these learnings and questions with us in the beautiful Meeting House and out on the land.
