What are micro-credentials?

Micro-credentials are scaffolded projects focused on school improvement or growth in professional practice.  All micro-credentials are based on the actual work you do within your classroom or position, and are goal based according to your focus.

There are seven micro-credential stacks offered by CCEA that cover the following topics:
1. Engaging Stakeholders
2. Leading with Purpose
3. Using Data to Inform School Based Decisions
4. 21st Century Learning Through Global Education
5. Families as Partners in Education
6. Motivating Learners
7. Understanding All Learners

Each stack is composed of 2 or 4 microcredentials. It is estimated that each micro-credential will take 15 hours of time.

Each microcredential will cost $40. As a benefit to CCEA members, upon successful completion of a micro-credential, CCEA will reimburse the member for the amounts paid for the micro-credential.
