EVANSTON SAFETY TOWN has been sharing safety lessons with children between 4-7 years old since 1977.
Teens have a very special and vital role in this program. Under the guidance of a camp leader and a teen aide, volunteers help the campers practice safety rules on the “Town” outdoors and work on projects related to the safety topics (crossing the street, emergency calls to 911, fire and police safety, water, playground and bike safety, etc.). If you want community service hours, please bring the form with you.
This year we are including 8-year olds because camp wasn't able to meet for the past 3 years.
If you are riding a bike to camp, please wear a helmet to model safe behavior.
