DelHi is a class that tells the story of the school year at Hayes using writing, photography, and design in a publication that we sell. DelHi is during first period. Students will receive one elective credit upon completion of this course. In addition, there are after-school commitments to photograph events that you MUST attend. An interview process with the current student editors may take place after submitting this application. You will be contacted for this, if selected.
DelHi Staff members MUST:
•attend some after-school events to take photographs (75 quality photos are required per quarter or 50 if you are a student-athlete (highly-involved);
•sell one business ad or senior tribute for the yearbook (will be done outside of class time);
•occasionally stay after school to work (students with conflicts -- no ride home, sports practice, etc. -- may work out an alternative day and time with Mr. Sherman if necessary; and
•take on administrative tasks, errands, group efforts, and other activities designed to make you a better journalist and contributor to our efforts to tell the story of the school year.

3/1- You may be contacted by a student editor to be interviewed.
3/1- Teacher recommendation forms will be used to evaluate your skills and ability to meet deadlines.
3/3- Interviews conducted by student-editors.
3/5 - Approved DelHi staff list will be published outside Rm. 2111.
