Photography Competition
Photography Competition provides an effective approach for amateur photographers to present their skills to the guests and the judges. Students from Bachelor and +2 Colleges can take part in this competition.

The theme for Kathfest 2019 is “Solving the problems of Nepal”. The photos should aim in presenting the ongoing problems in Nepal and/or their solutions through technology and engineering. Nepal is facing lots of problems lately such as:
- Unemployment
- Lack of Health Education and Services
- Lack of Proper Education
- Corruption
- Lower Agricultural Productivity
- Irresponsible Production and Consumption of Energy
- Crime Against Women
- and others.

The photos to be registered in Themed Photography Competition, should be aimed to include at least one of these issues.

The winner for the competition will be decided by the jury members. Their decision will be fair and unguided. Cash prize of Rs. 2000 will be awarded to the winner and their photo will be published in the upcoming college magazine.

Registration and Submission deadline: Poush 26. (The photos with their caption must be emailed at Kathfest2019@kathford.edu.np within 26th of Poush.)

Specifications
1. Photographs of each participant will be showcased in Kathford premises.
2. Each participant must provide 2 pp sized photos.
3. Only raw format of photographs will be accepted.
4. The photos must not include any artificial effects; must not be edited.
Disqualification
The teams may be disqualified in the following cases :
1. Violation of copyright laws
2. Violation of general rules of the competition
