We’ve started a big research project in our little office.

We’re screening every Foundry production, dialogue, and community program in chronological order until we’re done. We started October 18th with The Foundry’s first production, W. David Hancock’s Convention of Cartography, and we suddenly realized something was missing. You.

Come join us for any of these. Office hours are now open for the rest of the process.

Mondays @ 6:30 Fridays @ 4:30
Reservations are (spatially) necessary; First come first served.

@ The Foundry Office
140-142 Second Ave. Ste 405 (9th St. & 2nd Ave; next door to Veselka Restaurant)
Note: this is a 3rd Fl walk-up; there is no elevator

All Productions will be screened in full; Dialogues and Community Programs will be excerpted

Friday, October 21st : Deviant Craft [Foundry Production]
DEVIANT CRAFT by W. David Hancock
Mr. Snow runs the theatre program at The Phlogiston Foundation, a fictional reformatory for women who have committed violent crimes but who have remarkable aptitudes in science, technology and art. The audience arrives expecting to see the inmates perform The Tempest, but on this night, the performance is delayed when the wrong costumes and props arrive . Events arise from this mishap that will forever alter the course of The Tempest, the prisoners’ lives and our own notions of creativity.
