UCSC Silicon Valley Extension-First Year Transition Academy Interest Form
The First Year Transition Academy program provides an opportunity for admitted international students to get a head start by taking UCSC credit bearing classes during summer and fall quarters prior to starting their undergraduate studies on the main UC Silicon Valley campus in the Winter quarter.  

Our program is fully online. You can complete your coursework from your home country. 

Seamlessly transfer your credits. With the guidance and support of our expert advisors, we can transfer your credits to UC Santa Cruz after successfully completing the courses here at the First-year Transition Academy.

Academic + Professional + Success Strategies. Our program is a unique blend of curricula to set you up for success both in your academic and professional pursuits. You'll not only earn transferable credits towards your degree but gain valuable skills in time management and study strategies.
