The Democratic Party of Hawai’i Education Caucus recognizes that education is essential to Democracy and human progress. The caucus is dedicated to the principle that everyone has a right to a public education that spans a full spectrum of services and encourages lifelong learning. The caucus is committed to high quality, equitable, accessible, and affordable educational opportunities for all the people of Hawai’i, especially those historically disadvantaged. The mission of the caucus is to engage Hawaii’s residents in discussions, research, and actions on educational issues in a manner that models democracy and embodies the values of the Democratic Party.
