The Washington Society has a zero-tolerance policy (ZTP) for sexual harassment, assault, hate speech, and other malicious actions of any kind. The ZTP extends beyond meetings and covers all Washington Society affiliated events such as book club, parties, social events and any other event put on by the Society. If you have been harassed or discriminated against, have witnessed harassment or discrimination, or have issues of this kind, please report them here. The Equity Box can be used to report incidents involving members of the Washington Literary Society and Debating Union at the University of Virginia. There is no time limit on reporting incidents, and reports can be made about past events.
If the incident you are reporting is an emergency, please call 911.
If you have any questions about the form, or wish to report an incident in person, please reach out to the President of the Society. They can help you through the process of reporting or direct you to relevant resources.
