The 2018 SAZAEYC Annual Conference is an excellent opportunity to:-Share the knowledge and best practices that you use-Contribute to early childhood educators’ professional learning – beyond the mandated professional development-Build your own and your colleagues’ sense of professionalism and commitment to young children-Network with fellow professionals in the early childhood community
We are interested in reaching out to new voices and new audiences at the conference. If you have not presented before, we encourage you to submit a proposal. We also want to increase the number of presentations that are offered in Spanish and/or bilingually. Please consider submitting a proposal and helping us increase the diversity of voices in our community.
As we move forward in identifying our Profession and the Field of Early Childhood, it is important that we align our work to agencies that support and guide our practice. The Arizona Early Childhood Workforce Knowledge and Competencies identify the basic knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for early childhood professionals across all sectors of early care and education, early intervention, mental health, physical health, and social services/child welfare working with expectant parents, infants, toddlers, and young children birth to age eight and their families. http://azearlychildhood.org/resources--information/workforce-knowledge--competencies
