2024 LWVTN Poll Watching VOTER issues Report
This forms provides a way for League poll watchers to record their observations related to voter issues with ID, location, eligibility, etc. League Poll Watchers are observers - we are not there to confront voters or poll officials. If you see something troubling, you can ask the poll officer about it and also call the League coordinator. There is also a national hotline supported by the LWVUS: 866-OUR-VOTE for rapid response on Election Day. If possible, refer voters turned away without being given a provisional ballot to the League supported hotline 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683).  Best practice is to follow the voter out of the polling place to speak to them rather than talk to them in the polling place.
