CS-SIS Volunteer Interest Form (2019-2020)
The CS Executive Board invites you to be an active partner in CS-SIS. With members from all types of libraries, whose functions range from network and system administrators, lab supervisors, and webmasters to department heads and library directors, the Computing Services Special Interest Section serves the fastest-growing sector within law librarianship. Above all, Computing Services SIS members are law librarians dedicated to serving all the information needs of their library users with the aid of computing technologies.

Please look through the list below of CS committees and check if you would like to be a Committee Chair or a Committee Member for the committees you are interested in. There is a wide range of committees to choose from where your skills, talents, and help will be greatly appreciated!

COMMITTEE CHAIR: The chair volunteers to lead the committee from their appointment until the next CS-SIS Business Meeting the following July. Time will be spent planning, organizing, and executing the committee's tasks with committee members, with a brief report to be provided at the annual CS Business Meeting.

COMMITTEE MEMBER: The chair will be communicating with the committee members and convening meetings as necessary. The committee will assist the chair with any duties that may arise.

Task Forces are appointed throughout the year to meet one-time needs. Please indicate whether you are interested in participating as a Task Force Chair or as a Task Force Member. Alternatively, if you are interested in participating but cannot commit at this time, please ask to be placed on the Call List.
