Intermediate Flower Painting
This class will jump straight to drawing and structural flower painting. Students will be taught how to draw essential shapes for flowers and create cohesive color palettes. Step-by-step demonstrations on how to paint simple and dense flowers will be personally taught step-by-step.

8 students only.
Basic knowledge in watercolor is required.
Fee: 4,600. Full payment in advance is required to sign up for this class.

About the artist
Valerie Chua is a visual artist and art instructor from South East Asia who specializes in traditional water-based media. Valerie grew up with Western graphic novels and Japanese manga and only started painting at the age of 20. Shortly after, her work as an illustrator became widely published and recognized. She has produced commissioned work for Keds, Clinique, Lenovo, Designare Magazine Singapore, Crested Tees USA, SK-II, Charles & Keith, and Christian Louboutin, among others. She has also been featured in publications such as JUICE Malaysia, DPI Magazine Taiwan, Preview Magazine, and has endorsed brands like Nivea and ASUS as a visual artist. Valerie has exhibited in New York, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines, and continues to paint and exhibit as a fine art illustrator.
