The James Jay Dudley Luce Foundation Leadership Scholarship Application
The James Jay Dudley Luce Foundation, Inc. is a New York State Corporation granted tax-exempt 501(c)3 status by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). It's dual objectives are to offer microgrants and 'spotlighting' to individuals and organizations bettering humanity in the fields of the Arts, Education, and Orphan Care. The J. Luce Foundation is most active in the U.S., Afghanistan, Cuba, Haiti, India, Indonesia, Peru, and Sri Lanka.

As of 1st December 2017, the Foundation's Scholarship Committee will review applications and award scholarships to support young global leaders with leadership development training and seminars, scholarships for the J. Luce Experiences around the world (Greece, Indonesia), as well as with membership in Lions Club International and Toastmasters International, and leadership training through Landmark Worldwide.

Recipients of scholarship to attend Landmark Worldwide are personally responsible to pay the course deposit. The scholarship is structured as a no-interest three-year loan for the balance of the course tuition. Only Young Global Leaders who have completed 200 hours at the Foundation will be considered for a full scholarship which is not in the form of a loan.

The Foundation's Global Advisors, Young Global Leaders, Luce Leaders, Fellows, Scholars, and Volunteers are eligible to apply for the scholarship. For more information about how to get involved with the Foundation, please contact Chloe Hoang at (330) 234-2262 or

Submit your application by the 1st day of the month to receive the result by the 15th of the same month.

Recipients of the Scholarship are required to submit a one-page essay reflecting on the leadership opportunity, and authorize The J.Luce Foundation to utilize information provided on the essay for publication. Please send your essay in .doc or .pdf files to
