As you may know, March is Women's History Month. Usually, this month centers white women and focuses on their needs and deeds, so let's add some necessary flavor to it. We have been approved by Ms. Rousseau to use two days each week for the rest of March to highlight a woman, or group of women, that have left an impact on the fight for gender equality and equity in some way. So, we want to use this platform as a way to highlight Black women/Black feminists. If you are interested, please sign up! It is very similar to what NAACP and GSA did, in that it only requires speaking on the announcements for less than a minute. We will most likely use Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Wednesday as the days, so keep that in mind.
