Girls and Nonbinary Youth in STREAM -  Stewardship Camp - Registration
Our STREAM Camp aims to inspire and empower girls and nonbinary rising middle school students by connecting them to Science, Technology, Restoration, Engineering, Art, and Math. We hope to create a supportive and inclusive space, encouraging attendees to explore fields where their voices and perspectives are often underrepresented and build curiosity and confidence in STREAM careers.

A big thank you to the sponsors of this event: Restoration Design Group, Ann Baier, Frances Knapczyk, Andrea Jarvis, Carole S Johnson, Lisa Anich, Abid Itagi, Lorena Castillo, and Robert Simmons.

Campers will meet daily at 2001 Clayton Road Concord, CA (additional drop-off info to come) and will be brought to different sites across Contra Costa County, including Mount View Sanitary District, Laurel Court Community Garden, Walnut Creek (yes, the actual creek), and MORE! Throughout the week, attendees will engage in hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, and build a DIY automata led by women and non-binary CCRCD staff members. Additionally, they will hear directly from different women guest speakers each day who are working in STREAM fields and learn about their experiences in these careers. Topics include habitat restoration, engineering, wildfire resilience, and more!

The day camp runs from 8:30am to 3:30pm, July 27th-31st, 2026. Families are invited to join us Friday afternoon (7/31) for a graduation ceremony and ice cream social! More details to come.

Please reach out to streamcamp@ccrcd.org with any questions.
