Prime Stage Global Classroom: Connecting local students with those in other schools, regions, and countries
The Prime Stage Global Classroom program is a special opportunity for students to connect, share ideas and experiences, and discuss theater productions. We use video conferencing technology to connect schools in multiple locations; allowing students to "meet" virtually and talk to students they would never have encountered in their everyday lives. Participants can attend public or private schools, cyber schools, or home school --- anywhere an Internet connection is available. The Global Classroom experience is free to participants through the support of Prime Stage partners and grants.
This year's Global Classroom experience is centered on our production of "The White Rose" and will take place in collaboration with the Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh and will include students from area schools and youth organizations as well as those globally. Schools participating in Global Classroom are able to view the student matinee production for free prior to the Global Classroom discussions.
In order to accommodate international time zones, Global Classroom will take place on Thursday, March 12, 2026.
Register below by February 27th for you and your students to participate! Please email with questions about our Global Learning initiatives.
