In this hands-on workshop participants will:
learn how to plan and design a wooden spoon
be instructed on basic to advanced carving techniques (depending on previous experience)
receive mentoring in carving 1 or more spoons
The hope is that each participant will take home at least one complete, or mostly complete, spoon. Tools will be provided. Woodworkers of all experience levels are welcome, and no prior experience is necessary. The workshop will be led by carver and wood sculptor, Ken Wise of Brunswick, ME. Fee: $45. Time: 9am - 4pm.
