The Vision for ISKCON Whitefield Temple
As we embark on the construction of the Grand ISKCON Whitefield Temple, we are fulfilling the vision of HH Jayapatākā Swami Maharaj, who, during his recent visit (October 4, 2023), envisioned that “Whitefield will soon be a name known by all.” The temple will be a beacon of spiritual activity, serving the devotees and community in profound ways.
The Divine Blueprint for the Temple:
This temple will be a hub of devotional service, offering:
- Nitya seva of Sri Sri Radha and Krishna with daily aratis and kirtans.
- A Vedic library and extensive book storage to flood Bengaluru with Srila Prabhupada’s transcendental books.
- A state-of-the-art kitchen, serving 50,000 prasadam meals daily.
- Comfortable accommodations, including a Brahmachari Ashram and guest house.
- A Samskara Hall for sacred ceremonies, yajnas, and marriages.
- Govinda’s Restaurant and numerous other amenities.
We aim to complete this temple within two years, a task requiring collective efforts. Krishna willing, we plan to inaugurate it by Gaura Purnima 2027.
Join Us in This Divine Mission
The estimated cost of this monumental project is 25 crores. With over 1,000 devotees in our community, if each of us, including children and adults, takes ownership of contributing or collecting 2.5 lakhs, we can easily achieve this goal.
I humbly request that each one of you become an active participant in this mission. Your contribution is not just a donation—it is a timeless act of devotion that will echo through eternity. Together, we can create a spiritual legacy that will serve generations to come.
Let us unite in this sacred mission to fulfill Srila Prabhupada’s vision, create a Krishnaconscious society, and bring the mercy of Lord Chaitanya to the people of Bengaluru.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication.
