Ambleside McLean Faculty Application
Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in Ambleside School.  We are always looking for teachers and staff who are willing to invest in children and families in an educational setting.  Ambleside is a Christ-centered school implementing the educational methods of Charlotte Mason (1842-1923).  We are committed to providing an excellent education through classic texts, careful observations, practiced skills, and a unique understanding of the way children learn best.

Please review our employment page at https://www.ambleside.org/employment-opportunities prior to completing this application.  Each applicant selected for an interview will be required to arrange for the forwarding of official transcripts from colleges/universities to Ambleside School. The background reading about “Children as Persons” will be discussed during the interview process.  For your planning purposes, our hiring process has the following steps:

Classroom observations (if school is in session) and professional testing (1-2 hours)
     Interview (1-2 hours)
     Reference Review/ Contract Offered
Required training at an ASI Summer Institute (usually 10 days in late July or first week of August)
