The Sustainability Office invites you to participate in a brief survey. Your input will shape future outreach and awareness campaigns, as well as TMU's STARS (Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System) assessment score.
Sustainability refers to the idea that environmental, social and economic factors are deeply interconnected, an approach often described as the "three pillars" of sustainability. According to the UN’s Brundtland Report (1987), sustainable development means meeting current needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs.
This survey consists of three parts:
- Understanding your relationship with TMU
- A sustainability cultural assessment that helps us understand views, beliefs, attitudes and behaviours towards our environment and sustainability goals
- A sustainability literacy assessment that helps us understand our community's knowledge of sustainability topics and skills they have to take action
The survey will take approximately five (5) to seven (7) minutes to complete.
Privacy and anonymity
No personal data will be disclosed and all responses will be treated with anonymity. Please answer all questions honestly and to the best of your knowledge.
To ensure the survey will only be open to TMU community members, you will need to login with your my.torontomu ID. However, your email address will not be collected with your survey responses.
If you would like to be entered into the draw for a chance to win one (1) of three (3) preloaded $50 PRESTO cards, you will have an opportunity to provide your email address. Your personal information will be separated from your survey responses to protect anonymity. Access our full contest rules.
