Cleft Lip and Palate (CLAP) Run 2025Ā is an annual charity event hosted by the Universiti Malaya Dental Student Society (DENSOC) in collaboration with theĀ Cleft Lip & Palate Association of Malaysia (CLAPAM).Ā
The primary goal of this event is to raise funds to support children born with clefts, who require ongoing care and financial assistance throughout their developmental years. In addition to providing essential surgeries and treatments, the event aims to improve the quality of life for these children, particularly those from financially constrained families. We also seek to raise awareness about cleft lip and palate, conditions that impact speech, nutrition, self-esteem, and overall well-being.Ā
All proceeds from this event will directly benefit individuals affected by cleft lip and palate, offering them critical medical treatment and support. This event provides a meaningful opportunity for the community to show solidarity and make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.
