Are you a maker looking for a jewelry studio space equipped with all the necessary tools and a supportive community? You are at the right place! The Jeweler's Saw is a cooperative studio, school, and community for jewelry artists, students, and hobbyists. Whether you're a seasoned jeweler or a student honing your craft, we would love to have you as part of our growing community.

The Monthly Rentership offers an affordable way to work on your jewelry pieces with 24/7 access to a studio bench and specialized equipment. All monthly renters must have prior jewelry making experience and must feel comfortable working independently in a studio setting.

We have no contract obligations and are happy to work month-to-month with you.

Monthly renters are required to complete a Studio Walkthrough. This is a one-time orientation session designed to familiarize new renters with the studio setup, acetylene/air torches, and other equipment. The Studio Walkthrough fee is $30.

We accept a wide range of jewelry makers at different ability levels. However, we will not accept someone if they do not have enough experience or do not align with the Jeweler's Saw Co-op mission and values. If we feel an applicant needs more experience, we highly recommend they take Guided Studio Classes or Beginner Jewelry Making Classes before joining as a monthly renter.

To start your Monthly Rentership, here is our process:

Studio Tour and interview (if you have not taken a class with us or have not been to our studio) to see if your metal work and studio practices align with our expectations for safe, inclusive, independent, respectful studio mates. Bring your pieces or pictures with you so we can see your beautiful creations!
Studio Walkthrough to familiarize with the monthly rentership and signing Monthly Renter Agreement.

The whole process can take up to two weeks, depending on your availability to tour the studio and do a walkthrough.
