To be considered for membership, applicants must:
- Possess and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA and full-time status as a student.
- Have no disciplinary history, including both academic and non-academic infractions.
- Provide a letter of recommendation regarding personal character (employer, mentor, ecclesiastical leader, coach, teacher, neighbor). Please download the Recommendation Form and give to your Reference:

In addition, once an applicant becomes a full-member of the Council, he or she may not serve in other Student Government roles. Individuals whose role in Student Government will expire at the end of the Fall semester may still apply for Council membership.
MEMBERSHIP EXPECTATIONS:
Members of the Honor Council are expected to:
- Uphold the highest standards for their own behavior, both on and off campus and avoid involvement in situations that may lessen the perceived credibility of the conduct system;
- Attend mandatory training session;
- Place membership on the Council as a top priority behind academics;
- Become knowledgeable about all aspects of the Code of Student Conduct
- Participate in regular committee meetings and assist with important Council functions;
- Participate in various educational outreach efforts;
