The University of the Philippines Cebu in partnership with the Philippine Association of Marine Science will have theirĀ Ā 18th National Symposium on Marine Science (PAMS18)Ā this comingĀ July 10-12, 2025Ā atĀ UP Cebu.Ā This event is centered around the themeĀ ā€œOceans at a Crossroad: Integrating Science, Policy, and Action for Sustainable Philippine Seasā€.Ā Specifically, this brings together scientists, policymakers, environmental advocates, and stakeholders to explore collaborative solutions for sustainable management of the marine ecosystems in the Philippines.Ā 

In line with this, the UP Cebu Dormitory (Liadlaw Hall)Ā is open for guest accommodation. Please take note of the following information:Ā

  • July 8-13, 2025
ROOM TYPES AND CAPACITIES
  • Female (Fan Rooms): 60 persons
  • Female (Air-conditioned Rooms): 12 personsĀ  (These rooms are already fully booked)
  • Male (Fan Rooms): 36 personsĀ 
  • Male (Air-conditioned Rooms): 9 persons (These rooms are already fully booked)
ROOM RATES
  • Fan Room:Ā ā‚±200 per person per nightĀ 
  • Air-conditioned Room:Ā Ā ā‚±450 per person per night
RESERVATION PROCEDURES AND REQUIREMENT
  1. Fill out the reservation form.Ā 
  2. Full payment is required upon check-in. Preferred payment method is through cash.Ā
