To receive a Camtasia software license key you must agree to the Terms and Conditions as outlined below.

Terms & Conditions
By using the unique key provided to you for Camtasia software licensed to the Emily Carr University, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

• You agree to Techsmith's end-user license agreement (https://www.techsmith.com/camtasia-eula.html)
• You agree to use the software for educational purposes only, commercial use is not permitted.
• You agree to not redistribute, share, or show ECU keys provided to you to any other person.
• You agree to use the keys provided to you on a maximum of one computer.
• You agree not to utilize Camtasia's quiz feature because it does not meet the requirements of B.C's FIPPA act. (You can instead use the FIPPA compliant Kaltura Video Quiz feature integrated in Moodle).
• You agree to immediately delete the software when requested to do so by the University.
• You agree to immediately delete the software if you cease being an ECU employee or an active instructor*

*To remain an active instructor your gap between teaching contracts shall be a maximum of 1 year.
After one year without a teaching contract, the software must be deleted. Instructors can re-request
software access when they become active once again.
