This award, presented by the Women’s Center, recognizes a student or student organization which has shown outstanding leadership and/or community involvement on women’s issues or has raised consciousness about those issues.
Through this award, we seek to recognize students who create a campus climate in which women and girls can be full and equal participants in higher learning or succeed in society at large, and promote issues that are related to gender equity and feminism.
All full-time students of junior and senior standing are eligible for the award. Students can be nominated, or apply themselves. For both nominations and self-nominations, questions 1 and 2 must be answered.
